The first I have every been inside. my son's high school rented it for their graduation. beautiful old artwork and detail but it could have been a little more convenient. first floor tickets that we were given were filled even though that should be impossible only a certain amount of seats given out with tickets so we had to sit all the way near the top. We couldn't even see the high school being brought out when all the kids were brought out before going across the stage they were all underneath us where the band was . In the beginning the place was very warm and there were no concessions open for water during a three and a half hour graduation when the place was packed and very unorganized. Also at the end after the graduation everybody was huddling near the main entrance so there were hundreds of people standing in the front you couldn't find people for at least 20 minutes to an hour even over the phone. And there was no parking for this event which had a very large amount of people going to it so we had to park at Providence place Mall which took us over 45 minutes just to get out of the first floor. It was an exciting event to see my son graduate high school but it was a very disorganized event in general for the amount of people that were going on a Thursday at 6:00 pm as well.

The theater itself is glorious. It's a beautiful setting, and the sound travels well. Most of the seats have a great view of the stage. The seats themselves will kill your knees unless you are a child or very short. If you can grab seats in the first row of a section, do that, or you will regret it.

This a beautiful Auditorium that we enjoy going to see the Festival Ballets performance of The Nutcracker. Any seat is a good seat. And we have sat at every spot of the Veterans Auditorium.

The Veterans Memorial Auditorium is just awesome. What a venue. Such class and everyone that works there from the ushers, to the attendants at the concession stands- everyone's a class act. We've seen many shows here and are always impressed.

They want vaccine card and license with mask for entry. Concessions=stole from. $20 parking 10 ft. From building. Theft at its finest.
There is plenty of parking at the mall near Cheesecake Factory and then just walk up. Or you can park in the old DMV building parking lot directly across from the RI State House.
Public Kitchen & Bar on Francis Street? It's just around the corner from entrance, same block.
Across the street Providence place parking lot
There are like 10 hotels within half mile. Depends on how much you wanna spend. I would google it if I were you. Biltmore, Hilton, mariot, courtyard, omni. The closest is Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel. 0.2 miles away
Yes
The Cheesecake Factory is a short walk for there, plus more restaurants inside the Providence Place Mall.
