Am a warranty holder called for repair, and was charged over $860. 00 for 1and1/2 hours of labor. Have left messages for a manager/owner to call me back and justify or make this right. Was told for 3 days my message was put through as a priority, yet still no can be bothered to call me back. I am not even a new customer, I have used them for years. So I am so disappointed. Finally got a call back from the Service Manager after a week and a half of repeated calls to be told I was was being charged 5 hours of labor for 1 and a half hours of actual labor for "warranty paperwork " . I could have paid for the part and fair labor much cheaper without a warranty. This company just ripped me off, don't make the same mistake.

I made a call around 5:00 or 5:30 yesterday when my upstairs AC wasn't working. I didn't expect a technician until the next day. I also didn't expect swift service because it's covered under a warranty call so I expected a back log; however, I had a technician at my house around 9:00 pm last night. He very polite and had us up and running quickly. I am very thankful for this type of service!!!

I've been a customer for about 12 years, my husband and I retired from Army and moved to Florida, Schmidt was contracted to install two units in our new home. Over the last 12 years we've had several repairs. My concern is that several years ago when we're under warranty the tech did a patch job, he noted a leak in the coils, he chose to fill with coolant instead of addressing the leak...we were under warranty then and would've gladly paid for labor because the part would have been free...now we're here today basically being told it would be cheaper to get a new unit, because we're no longer under warranty. I've called the company more 6 times in the last 2 weeks asking them to address the problem and I have not gotten a response. I feel very strongly about this issue and honestly I would like to resolve at the lowest level. If I do not here anything by weeks end, I have no choice but to elevate my concern.

BEWARE! This company will not fix your issue. Technician will blame the fault on other things and charge you full price. Shady business tactics like AC might not work again so hire someone else to fix the problem. Why did I call these people. So sad.

We do not. All employees go through extensive background and driving checks and must provide valid licenses and social security cards.
