Amico Island State Park is a fun little place to take your dog on a nice easy hike. If quiet enough while walking you are able to come across deer grazing less than 15 feet away. Great place to spend a beautiful afternoon.

Amico has a lot of beautiful trails, it is a great place to take a walk and enjoy nature. There are breathtaking views and a variety of animals in fact I saw a few deer and a box turtle.

Yes it is allowed. You will need a NJ fishing license or if you plan to fish in the river you will need a free add on to your license.
No person shall build light or maintain a fire within the park system prooerty except in a fireplace fire ring or grill provided maintain or designated for such purpose unless fire restrictions are in effect. Number 25 on the park rule sheet. Hope this helps

There's parking at the park you can't miss it , and not to far I might add, walk to your hearts contentment.
Its 830 my family has been there as late as 9pm but Im sure 830 is official closing.
Not a 100% sure but I've been there many times I've never seen anybody leave with any fish.
