Good location, terrific brunch. My smoked chicken hash was delish and unique. French toast was OK. Service could have been a little bit more attentive, engaged but not terrible given how busy it was.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this location. However, the food was underwhelming. I ordered a Bleu cheese wedge salad to start. The description was intriguing as it included crispy onions (not typically found on al this kind of salad). The onions were delightful, but the salad was served with vinegar (?!?) as well as Bleu cheese dressing. Presentation of the salad was wonderful. Truly, everything about it looked perfect, but there was just way too much vinegar on it. The acidity of the vinegar cut through every other part of the salad. The entree I ordered was the lemon chicken. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and succotash was nice, and the potato wedges were piping hot and crispy. Again, lots of elements of the dish done really well, but there must've been the equivalent of at least 1/2 a stick of butter at the bottom of the plate. All this butter made the dish too rich and left me feeling like I needed more salt to cut through the fat and add some flavor. Additionally, the pea succotash was nice, but combined with the potatoes, it just absorbed too much butter with each forkful. Unfortunate... Lots of aspects of the meal were done really, really well, but there was always something that ruined it. I would give this place another chance, but based on my initial experience, I can't rate it any higher than 3/5 stars.

We didn't have reservations but the staff was very friendly and welcoming to dine at their restaurant. Waitress was kind and made sure we were doing well but would take too long to come back (If you are on a time limit do dine out or hate long waits this isn't the place for you). I give 5 stars because the food was very delicious and cooked to perfection. Definitely a place to go back to for the food!
