Good group of guys. We had a great time hanging out during installation and Randy made sure everything was perfect. Professional, fun, affordable AC installation. I would reccomend them to anyone.

The technician, Gabriel was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. He identified an issue with my almost 20 year old A/C system and I determined I would just replace with a new system. Gabriel said a salesman would contact me right away so I could get the new unit ASAP. It’s been 4 days and I’ve heard nothing. I guess they don’t need my business.

Our service tech Gabe was outstanding. He made sure he took the time to explain what he had done and provided insight on how we could continue to get use out of our A/C handler. He was polite and on time. We hope when we have our heating check up in the fall Gabe will be our tech. Top notch work.

Gulf Coast Heating & AC of Seminole | Mar 6, 2022

Smart thermostats can help your household cut energy costs by allowing you to set a customizable program for your home climate. It allows you to access your home system even when you’re away in order to change the settings and save your system from working extra hard to maintain a temperature for an empty house.

what are the benefits of upgrading to a zoned system?

Phyllis Howell | Sep 2, 2021
Gulf Coast Heating & AC of Seminole | Sep 2, 2021

There are many benefits to using a zoned climate system, but the most notable is the ability to save you money while using less energy. These systems allow for homes to keep certain “common” areas cooler or warmer while letting other areas remain at higher levels. This gives your system a break from attempting to climate control your entire home, using less energy, and increasing its efficiency.

Some of the simplest ways include adjusting your thermostat to more appropriate temperatures, keeping your curtains drawn to better insulate around windows, and utilizing ceiling fans for better air circulation (allowing for more moderate thermostat settings). how do I know what size HVAC unit I need for my home?

Lauryn Gargiulo | Sep 2, 2021
Gulf Coast Heating & AC of Seminole | Sep 2, 2021

In general, your home requires approximately 25 BTUs to control the climate of one square foot in your home. For a very rough estimate, multiply your square footage by 25 to get a general idea of how large a system you will need. It is important to note, however, that there are several factors that figure into determining the right size unit – including ceiling heights, type and quality of insulation, drafts, and ductwork seal quality to name a few. A consult with our trained technicians will give you the most accurate estimate on what you’ll need.
