It's not really water park. They have 1 slide and " lazy river " not so lazy, because there is a lot of swimming you need to do. But it feels so nice after this water. We will be back.

We took a group of 6 on Sunday. Got there early and waited inline. Once in, we went to the water area. We all loved it. The lazy river was fun... $9.00 per tube.. a little bit high.. but still fun. The concession stand had decent food and pricng. Shout out to PAULINE at the bar!!! Thanks for keeping the men entertained or vs versa 🤣🤣 My husband said we will be back to see ya. #them margaritas

Love all the gators. They, pose f pictures and are very photogenic. Plus, Mermaid show was epic. And, I seen they do Mermaid classes f extra cost w appointment only. I like the fact we are able to bring food f picnic. Nice, little affordable gift shop. Great, affordable place f family day out, it is not as out going as Dinsey, but more relaxing w less crowd, and no waiting in long lines just get there early so y do not miss out on show times .

We did one day at the water park side and one day on the river kayaking. Buccaneer bay was disappointing compared to photos. They have removed some slides since the aerial photos were taken. They only have 2 slides with a very long wait. Forty minutes or so for a very short ride. The lazy river is extra from your admission price. Once you get in you have pay to rent a tube. You get a wristband so no tube sharing. The float is about 200 yards. The beach area was very crowded and everyone is on top of each other both in the water and on the sand. We arrived about 10am on a Sunday in early May and the mermaid show was already sold out for the whole day. The spring water was nice and beautiful to relax on the hot sun. The floating dock was fun to jump off. Lots of people patroning the bar as well and then swimming with the kids and families. Lifeguards just have a stressful job here!

Yes,but the slides aren't available during winter days
They will have the shows open June 15th! Until then, Buc Bay is open on weekends 😉
The Ticket prices are as follows: Adults are $13.00, children between 6 and 12 years old are $8.00, and children 5 and under are free. They are closed for the winter, the prices could change once they reopen.
Headphones are ok
Just checked. $13 however it is partially under renovation. Please check the website. https://weekiwachee.com/plan-your-visit/tickets/
No
No
Yes but it may be packed go during a week day early morning and u can do both
Yes, no extra parking fee
11am, 1pm, and 3pm
I believe you have to be there
As long as u have the stamp u can go to car and come back in
Last time I seen when driving by 2 weeks ago they were. However, if there is thunder or lightening they shut attractions down. And, any type of park it is best to call the day y are going, along w check the forecast to better plan y day, so y and the family aren't disappointed.
i don't think they will be, it is a outdoor pool so they might close it for fall and winter.
the front
If you do the river you can but at buccaneer Bay they don't let you u can rent single or double tubes to do the lazy river
Thats an interesting question that I do not know the answer for you may want to call the office directly and ask them
Yes you can.
Day pass is 13 buck per person 2 under free not sure how much year pass is mermaid show is included in that price great place to go but get there early especially on weekends they only let so many in to park they turn people away it opens at 9
New restaurant and great decorated area. Like a ship's galley. Yummo food, great options, such great updates.
Yes it is.
It is open, unsure about slides fixed. The slides are open weekends
Yes. Until 5:30pm
The water park is closed after late September I believe but you can always take a kayak and kayak down the river anytime of the year
No but you can camp around the corner at the Christian Camp
No. They aren't opened year round. You can swim all year tho
Oh yeah early early until off season usually I'd say get there at 7 to guarantee admission. ;)
Unsurprisingly as I'm not there today. But its normally full by 11 AM.
No, you cannot fish at Buccaneer Bay. It is a water park for swimming and tubing.
About 30 minutes before.
No. I imagine they would verify a yearly park pass with id but admission to get in wouldn't require one.
No tubes because they rent them
Yes. You can bring a cooler with water, soda, snacks. They do a quick search on your way in. Drinks are expensive but don't remember the price.
All included $8 till mid june
This is what it says on their webpage. Personal floatation devices are not permitted inside the park, with the exception of child floats, i.e. noodles, lifejackets. Only tubes from the concessionaire can be used on the lazy river float The gift shop sold smaller inflatables. The swimming area is not large so I imagine it is to keep ample room for swimming.
Included with the price of admission to the state park. Adults:$13 for most of the year. The link has all the details https://weekiwachee.com/plan-your-visit/tickets/
$13 adults & 8 for kids 6-12
Up until March 15th $8.after 13$ for adults kids 6 to 12 4$ to 8$ kids 5 and under free.
No but the park fills up fast. They won't usually let anyone in once the park reached capacity until about two, but no guarantees. So get there early.
13 for everyone over 12
Only if there is lightning in area
No, they are not allowed. They do have a bar on premises to buy drinks though.
There is some shady areas. But you have to get in early to get those spots. They do rent pop up cabanas for $20. But again got to get them early. You can bring your own umbrellas and beach tents just no full size camping tents.
Buccaneer Bay is included with Weeki Wachee tickets. Cost $13.00
Yes, Buccaneer Bay has their own snack bar serving finger foods, snacks, and drinks. Weeki Wachee also has two locations you can get snacks and food.
Last year they were open but we got there around 9:30 and they were turning ppl around because park was already full.
Yes they have different shows depending on the week. Usually last 30 minutes several times daily. They are on a first come first serve basis . seating holds 400 people in the submerged auditorium.
Currently the park is doing repairs and improvements and will re-open on March 9th.
