Poor service my family has lived in this shelter for 7 months and we have experienced so many set backs. 5 sewage floodings in both of our rooms side by side in the middle of the night and day. Used every every cleaning supply we had leaving this family without. Staff refused to compensate Violated me because I refuse to keep cleaning itWith my own suppliesI'm a single father with 10 childrenI couldn't keep up with a little money that I getI had an apartment and I had a job and I lost both of them because of a landlord who refusedTo deal with his sewage and piping problems causing my homelessnessCode enforcement kick me out and here I am dealing with it againDon't wind up like my family God help you

A poor young girl of only 23/24 years of age just died in this facility of an apparent overdose on heroin. This facility left her in the room for 18 hrs without checking up. The baby boy ( 15 months old ) was screaming and crying from pain due to being left in a dirty diaper and getting no response from his mom. This poor boy is now in the hospital from serious diaper rash. If you ever seen bad diaper rash, this is way worse. Skin gone. Burned from the acidic nature of poop. You’d think these people would do periodic check ups knowing that people living in a shelter would be depressed at some level or another. We don’t think it was a intentional overdose because she just got a job as manager and a new car. Probably heroin laced with fentanyl. What a place.

Thanks Elli. I heard salvation army does the same thing. Any suggestions?

They accept all types of clothing. It's a family-oriented shelter so items for children/babies are in great demand. Due to covid precautions you may be instructed to place your donations in the donation bin located just outside the facilitys' entrance.
