Giving this place a 5 star as I did not know about this place until my recent visit. Apparently they have been in the area for some time. Service was good restaurant is clean. They relocated to a new location which allowed me to come across them. Had the pulled pork platter. Bought some of their season's. The sauce, seasoning, and foods are all house made other than the mac n cheese. They sell honey here. Did not try it surely it is yummy. If you are passing thru or a local. Definitely give them a try. The greens have no meat. Still pretty decent.

Excellent down home cooking served with a smile! Friendly helpful staff makes you feel like a local! Great location serves an excellent breakfast. They have bee hives outback and you can watch them busy buzzing and working to make fresh delicious honey! I just had to Bring home a bottle for myself and family love it! So much I’m starting a collection of locally sourced honey! You’d be amazed at how different each one taste do to where the bees are collecting it from!!

Excellent breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff. Great bacon. The restaurant is roomy and comfortable. They also have their own honey for sale

Absolutely amazing! Service was exceptional, recommendations were right on, and I do not have enough room to discuss the incredibly tasty homemade BBQ sauce. The mix of homemade country cooking and the smokehouse was top notch. I would highly recommend Barnwood BBQ to anyone who visits Mt Dora and don't forget to grab a bottle of sauce to go!!!
