My dog needed immediate attention and the Banfield where I usually take him didn’t have any available appointments. I called San Pablo location and they were able to find an appointment really quick. We got there thinking that our baby was not going back home… they discussed every detail with us to help us save on what could have turned into a very expensive procedure. They ran tests, got him medicated and celebrated with us when he started feeling better. We paid a reasonable price and brought our baby back home with a detailed plan to help him. I will have no problems driving 25 miles to bring my pet here. They are awesome!

I'd give them a minus 10. 3 times rescheduled my dogs surgery. Can't even get anyone on line to talk to me. Less than 24 hour notice of cancelation. This place is AWFUL

We came in to have our corgi's jaw and mouth checked out after he was attacked by a pitbull at a dog park. The attending nurse/receptionist was very kind and empathetic, however after she met with the doctor on site, we were sent away due to them closing in an hour and they didn't believe they'd be able to do anything if there was an issue. We have the wellness plan with Banfield but that apparently doesn't mean anything. We just wanted an opinion before going to an emergency vet.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.

Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
