From the perspective of someone who has donated multiple times over the last several years, this organization couldn't be more gracious and helpful. Yes, they are being very selective about the items they will accept for donations but the goal is to accept items they can sell for a profit to continue building homes for those in need. Today they were at our home to pick up two custom designed performance velvet sofas and a matching ottoman - exceptional quality furniture made in the USA. The gentlemen who arrived from H4H very carefully inspected the upholstery and the cushions before loading it all into the truck. These pieces, along with gently used outdoor rugs in impeccable condition as well as a beautiful wood West Indies style writing desk, went right out the door with them. As many of you are likely aware, all intended donations are not always acceptable; charitable organizations like this are not here to provide a free garbage pickup service for people who are unwilling to dispose of items they know full well cannot realistically be sold to or used by someone else. We are thankful for H4H for everything they do to help others. And when you talk to them, remember to be gracious.....it's a chaotic world we're living in. A little human kindness goes a very long way.

You can find almost anything you need here, if you don't mind buying used items. You can save a lot of money. They do have some new items. From used doors and furniture to household items and tools, there's something for everyone at fair prices.

You have to download and print the application. Make sure you have all of your necessary paperwork ID check stubs, tax returns everything or they will not accept it. Make sure you have you money orders. 30 dollars per adult over the age 18.
Hi Jessica, please visit our website for information on applying: www.habitat4humanity.org/apply. Thank you!
I would say No because a trailer doesn't have the same standard lumber sizes like a house for the engineers that habitat uses to calculate what the load would be But I would call them and ask them to make sure just incase they know someone that specializes in trailer roofs
I am sure you can do the app online
I really don't know about requirements for homes as far as I know habitat for humanity restore is their thrift store.
Not sure, as sorry

1288 North Tamiami Trail that would be in North Fort Myers some people call it Old 41 or business 41 it's about a block North of Pine North of Pondella on the east side of business 41 and the door to the building is around
You have a lot of possibilities to get a house in Habitat, so you must go there and fill out the application. Those people there are amazing and they always try to help.
As a faith-based organization the ReStores are closed on Sunday. They open Monday thru Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Stop on by & find a treasure or two.
Not sure about that
Habitat will take just about ANYTHING! they sell parts & pieces to just about ANYTHING you can think of....From used clothes, furniture, appliances doors, plumbing, I would go on and on but I think you get the idea. Again its all used and they're happy to take donations and I think they can pick up too. Call the closest location to you and go from there.
