Food actually very good, service (or lack thereof) really spoiled the experience. They seem to do a brisk takeout business to the point that they forget about the diners who are actually eating in. Waited a LONG time to be seated and was given a pitcher of warm water (I.e., no ice). My main course (chilli chicken) came out about one minute after my appetizer (aloo tiki chaat), which drives me nuts. I ordered a can of Diet Coke to offset the warm water but they were unable to give me a second can since they had no more cold Diet Cokes (??!!). Both of my dishes were very good, but I just felt like an afterthought the whole time I was there.

Consistently delicious every time. This must be one of the best Indian restaurants I've been to. I crave Aroma Indian Bistro's food on a daily basis. I usually get my go-to, Chicken Tikka Masala (which is so flavorful and the perfect amount of sweet and spicy), but I always love trying different foods. Chicken Kali Mirch and Masala Lamb Chops are amazing. I'd highly recommend Chicken 65 for an app. Every type of naan is warm, fresh, and so good. The staff are so nice and friendly too.

We usually don’t go out to eat since pandemic, but when we go for Indian, Aroma Indian Bistro is our go to place for years now. Small and cozy takeout place with never ending traffic walking in their shop, grabbing their food and leaving is a common scene here. Restaurant doesn’t have any fancy attributes to its set up but the food is so amazing is doing the job just right for them. If you place a walk in order with them and have to wait half hr or 45 mins because of line ahead of you, please don’t blame the staff they make fresh orders in order they recieve. The manager at counter are extremely friendly, gives you a pager with your order number and you can simply wait in the car and the pager beeps when order is ready - great way to reduce number of people standing close and avoid infections. It is also nice to see they have remained open throughout the pandemic and still offer white linen dining (rare of rarest these days) for customers who prefer to eat in. Situated right in heart of Merchantville - never disappoints by their quality of food, authenticity and flavors. The prices on menu are extremely nominal and portion sizes are satisfying. We would gladly say Aroma Indian Bistro is setting bars in South Jersey. Thank you for great food and services we will be back many more times!!
