Yes they do.... If the rim is aluminum, they have to send it out to get fixed. Takes anywhere from 24 to 48 hours. They will put on a spare for you, or give you a loaner until yours is back.

They often have brand new used tires from cars that people bought and got new rims and tires. I got a set cheap that still had the nibs on the tread they were so new
Only had tire work done on my personal vehicle, but when I wrecked the work van (not my fault) it had to be realinged and have a new steering arm put on the van drives better than before
Not that i know you have to pay to leave your old tires.
