I had to bring in my car for an oil change. I was told I would have a ride back to work; however when I got to the dealership, I was told this person quit and the next person went home sick. Aside from the apparent miscommunication, when I went to pick up my vehicle, my sunroof was open after a torrential downpour and my brand new car interior was soaking wet; complete with pollen and leaves as well. My service advisor was very understanding and detailed my car. However whomever detailed my car didn’t take out the mats and my entire floor remained flooded and my car began to smell. My biggest complaint was the lack of communication between management. I had left messages, called the corporate office, and left messages with multiple customer service representatives. I get it, you’re “understaffed”, so isn’t the rest of the work force and the customer service isn’t half as bad as Toyota of Sarasota’s. Edit: I appreciate your automated response. I still have not received a call back and am frustrated that my new car was ruined by your mistake that has yet to be rectified. I understand you are short staffed, but not even a call back? I have called the dealership, your corporate office, and your ‘response’ did not include an additional number for me to contact. This isn’t even poor customer service, this is just blatantly unacceptable.
