Amazing one in a million place. Great inventory and great service. This place is a trip back in time. An audiophiles dream.

Audio Equipment store is awesome. Doug is very friendly and helpful. Lots of great equipment to explore. I went in just to look around but couldn't help but to leave with new toys to tinker with. This is a dangerous place for the wallet, especially because it is right across from the incredible vinyl warehouse! Love it.

Let me start by saying that this review is for the equipment warehouse and not the music store. I love the music store and will continue to purchase from them. The Audio Equipment warehouse is where I have concerns. It's an amazing mass of vintage audio equipment. Unfortunately, it is non-air conditioned and some of the equipment has been there for a long time. Doug, the owner, runs this section of the business. I have stopped a few times and noticed for a while a tube amp that was priced at $649 but he did not know the condition of it or much about it. He offered 2 weeks return with no problems. While that is nice, I asked if I could listen to it. He said that he couldn't really do that because it would take a lot of work. He said he would have to hook up a preamp, source of music, speakers... I told him I would be glad to help but he chuckled and said "are you going to take responsibility for that?" I told him it was not that difficult. A couple of speakers and I could use my phone to provide both the source and volume control. I said, all we would need is a patch cable 1/8" to RCA and I asked him if he had it. He laughed at the idea that I would be actually asking for that. To that I just said "never mind" How can anyone try to sell high end components and not even be willing to accommodate a request to listen to it. He basically laughed at the absurdity of asking for a demo.

Friendly, helpful staff. Big selection of what you find everywhere else. Most of the records there are scratched up and over-priced, though. Spent 2 hours in there trying to find some playable vinyl at a reasonable price. Found 2 or 3 records. Prices are over the top. Checked out their bargain area in the back room. They have $1 and $3 bins of trash. All that was good for was if you are looking to replace an old album cover. The records were all unplayable garbage. I don't no why they bother putting scratched up crap like that out. Like the warehouse, I was hoping to drop some $$$$ here, but was very disappointed. Won't be going back.

Yes! But only at the 2887 22nd Avenue location.
No, we do not currently have any working ones.
Unfortunately we don't do equipment repairs.
We are still requiring masks for all staff and customers. We will provide curbside service or shipping to anyone not able or willing to wear a mask in-store. We are not really restricting numbers of people at this time, but we do encourage social distancing while in the store. We are waiting for our staff to be fully vaccinated before revisiting our mask policies.
our retail store at 2887 22nd Ave N. is open 7 days a week. Sun 12-5 and the rest of the week is 10-7
If you mean the kind that has an adaptor that allows you to stack records and drop them automatically on the record player, then no, we do not have any working ones.
Suggest you contact store directly.
