Brought my son here for respiratory issues, they gave him medicine, and suggested us to take him to ER because respiratory issues are dangerous for little kids. Took him to the hospital the nice front desk lady suggested and the ER staff was impressed with how they treated my son and did everything right. My son felt much better after the visit. The staff is very nice and they took us in right away - no wait. Glad we went there. Yea would recommend this place!

My wife and I needed to get a COVID 19 test before traveling on a cruise. The local PCR test could not guarantee a timely report and the lateral flow location was not open on the morning that we went. We were told that we could get the test at MedExpress urgent care. When we asked we were told that we could. In the end we waited for more than two hours to get a 15 minute test. When we finally went in we had to provide a full health history. While waiting for the results, we were visited by a Dr. who did a stethoscope listen to our chests. None of this was necessary. We had seen our Primary Care Physician and Cardiologist within a week of this visit. I have no idea what our insurance (Medicare) will be charged for this visit.

Upon entry after scanning the code to get checked into there system I had to wait nearly 2 1/2 hours before getting to see a doctor. After I was called in I had to fill paperwork out which was given to me without telling me to read the front page. Not only did the receptionist not tell me to read the front page she folded it back and told me to fill out the 2 pages. I had to make a special trip back to the urgent care to provide a form, a lot of unnecessary time, and fuel spent. The front receptionist could use some training to make sure all patients read the forms besides filling the other necessary paperwork out.The professional employees were very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable.

I went in with a sinus infection. I get them frequently and I have to treat them early or else it will get established and I end up with chronic infections in my sinuses. I needed antibiotics! The person who evaluated me said that I did not have a sinus infection because I was not sick long enough and that I needed to be sick for at least 2 weeks before she could justify giving me anything for it. I ended up walking out of the place. It is a fraudulent company and they do not treat patients just take your money. I have not been able to go to my primary Dr and this doesn't warrant an ER visit. So I am still sick and my infection is worsening. Hopefully my primary Dr will get back to me so I can get treatment.

How much is the copay

Melody Rougeux | Oct 7, 2021
MedExpress Urgent Care | Oct 7, 2021

Thank you for your question! Co-pays are an amount predetermined by your health plan that you pay upfront at the time of your visit. The exact co-pay amount is determined by the specifics of the insurance plan you choose and can vary by the type of healthcare provider you are seeing, such as an urgent care, PCP, or emergency room. If you’re unsure of the amount, call the 1-800 number on the back of your insurance card and the support team can walk you through the specific costs for your plan. Hope this helps!
