HORRIBLE!!! Told my husband and I that our 1 and a half year old has been terminated off the wic benefits and never called back or sent any form of emails, have been trying for months to get benefits for formula/baby food or any food!! AND THE ATTITUDES ARE HORRIBLE

I am 8 months pregnant and was advised by my case worker to get WIC. I called the number and gave all my information. I was told somebody will call me. Somebody did, and because I can't have my phone at work, I missed the call. I called back and was told I'd receive a call back. It's been several weeks so I called the main office. The woman was very short with me and told me that ita going to be a while and if I don't answer again when they call, I'll be put at the bottom of the list. The woman had no empathy and basically just told me to deal with it. She rushed me off the phone and told me she had other calls to take.

Just sat on hold for 2 hours just to have the lady tell me it’s MY fault that I haven’t gotten my recertification because I “haven’t answered the phone” but they have rescheduled me for MONTHS and I missed ONE call regarding recertification! And then the lady HUNG UP on me while I was speaking! I needed to ask a question and she spoke over me telling me I have an appointment and said bye. If that’s all they’re doing on the phone, WHY am I waiting months to get an appointment and then hours to speak to someone! And I’m told I cannot get my benefits until they call me for my next appointment but they DO NOT CALL when they say they do, so I just have to wait for formula until god knows when?!? I’m getting this service because I can’t afford it! This office is an absolute joke.

Worse... Wic office I've ever been to. Unhuman lactation Staff ever... The amount of time spent here is worse than going to the ER. Their slow...slow...worker's the process to get benefits into the card is completely nonsense! If your breastfeeding please plan ahead to get your own pump cause you'll have to show them your in terrible pain before they even care to lend you their pumps and to make it worse you'll have to go ever month to get benefits into your card cause they'll treat you like a thief right from the moment they lend you their pumps...trust me that's the worse feeling ever!!! They have me under emotional stress knowing that I'm breastfeeding and I should be at an excellent state of mind for my baby and my breastfeeding experience to go smoothly as possible!
