We live in North Port and last evening our neighbors called from mile marker 222 Southbound on 1-75, crying, scared, stranded, with their two little kids in car. Tow truck wouldn’t be there for 1-3/4 hours, Uber wouldn’t come pick them up so I called highway ranger office who contacted a Florida State Trooper who came and helped them, even changed their tire and got them safely on the road home. These guys risk their lives every single day for us and we should all be extremely thankful for these heroes. Thank you so much for your help we love you guys. Sincerely yours Suzy Clark North Port

Just a couple of lines to express my thanks to FHP & TPA Officer A. Lugo (1737) and Road Ranger Daniel (109) for their kind help this past Sunday. I was heading North on 75 when my rear tire exploded; the impact was so strong, it blew off part of the bumper. These professionals immediately helped to get me on my way, and turned an extremely unnerving experience into a positive. Mari Ojeda

Yes you can. Or go to www.FloridaCrashPortal.com and purchase the report online if you have the report number.
You must take it in front of a Judge, it will be up to them to decide that.
No sadly due to it being a Highway its out of their Jurisdiction in most cases unless they are traveling said highway and someone blows past..
