Best clinic I've been to since I started going when it comes to efficiently and quickly dosing people and getting them on their way. Plus the staff and nurses that I've interacted with are awesome in every way you can think. They're all very respectful and courteous even though I've seen clients be the complete opposite. And yet the staff still treat these rude, nasty attitude people respectfully and kindly. Hats off to the staff thank you for your effort and all you do for us that come there.

They are absolutely scary horrible!!! 😔 they do not CARE. THEY JUDGE THE CLIENTS INSTEAD OF Supporting them in need. I mean isn't that the whole point of an out patient facility? - since pandemic! ( oh the great pandemic) 😔 literally tore apart ppl. & then some. Loss.of lives. Depression. Etc. The ones whom are blessed to not have been affected by it meaning contracting disease. ( I realize we ALL have been affected one way or other) Some a lot worse. Such as life. So far a facility to allow a nurse to take matters in hers own. Hands & send over info to my PHYCE. Dr. & messed up my whole regimen. One that took yrs to get right & was finally on a great path of stability& working towards future daily& living in moment. One moment @a time. I was doing well. Not one looks back to that. BC of 1 solitary day An individual decided to "add" on notes to my Dr. After I signed release form. Shady. And till this day idk what made her think it was ok to do such a horrible thing to a mental/ addict??? (Power perhaps?) I had said. If your. So intended on. Playing god. You will mess what is working very well for me. I do not blame others however; this person gina? ( not longer employed there) DOESNT change the fact she did exactly what I knew WOULD happen. My whole life turned upside down. & struggled to this day ( 2yrs later) for Stability. With a GOOD trusting health care provider

I want to say that this place is one of the most ridiculous programs I’ve ever been through no trust at all takes forever to increase your dose and most of the staff are rude some of the nurses are nice they claim it’s a nonprofit but I don’t know they don’t go by their own handbook reference take homes so if you’re trying to find a program to get a stable in don’t think this is it but if you’re trying to find a place where you have to drive to every morning for as long as you’re there this is your place

This place has it's ups and downs service wise. Many times pertinent policy changes will be implemented without any forewarning. This often results in the patient being on the wrong end of the situation in regards to the ramifications incurred as a result of these changes. Furthermore the resulting complaints from patients often causes a reversal of the policy leading to further confusion & uncertainty.

Questions & Answers

How often do they go up on your dose?

Well it depends on how long you've been going there if you're just starting I believe you can go up every day until your stable.if you've been going for a while you can basically go in anytime if you don't feel well and tell them and they'll ask you what's going on and if they feel you need to go up they'll raise you

How much is it to dose if you pay cash?

I'm pretty sure it's like $20 but I have insurance so it's $6.

I'm not sure what the section 8 voucher is but if she hasn't quit going to the clinic then they can help set her up down here I'm sure . i believe it's only $11 a day down here too but I'm not positive about that i have medicaid that pays for mine . i think she will be ok tho!!she just needs to go to the clinic and tell them what she is doing and they will get her going!

Talk to your counselor in Jax & have them fax your records to Sarasota. Its really easy. You may have to guest dose at Sarasota til you see the Dr but least your records will already be there.

Never done this before. Are walk ins welcome & what's the fee.

Gerald Jones | Sep 3, 2018
Whitney Noel | Sep 3, 2018

You have to call and set up an intake appt with the dr before you can start treatment. The fees differ depending on insurance and such but i believe its around 90/wk for methadone.

Do you know if you can guess dose at this location I live in Pennsylvania and I am coming to Sarasota for a week in March

Kelly Richard | Sep 3, 2018
Whitney Noel | Sep 3, 2018

Yes. We had to guest dose when we first moved here from Maryland. Just have your clinic send them your information ahead of time to save yourself time and stress.
