Beautiful park. Short river walk on flat concrete path perfect for those with disabilities. Understandably and unfortunately for myself "No Dogs Allowed" though i did not see where that was posted. Plenty of open spaces for sun bathing and shade trees for those who don't and a nice sheltered section for picnics and a playground for little children.

Nice park and beach access! Beach is very much covered in trash and debris. Would be great if we could all remember to bring a trash bag with us to fill up as payment to use this free natural space.

Excellent spot for picnic. Playground is large and plenty of open space to run and play. Nice walking paths, some right along the water.

A historical park with some nice places to walk. A good place for an adventure & a photographer! It has a nice relaxing tree to sit against. Some interesting things to find if you just look around. There’s a set of stairs with painted butterflies on it. The lake behind the building has a small beach to walk on and it’s a nice place to watch a beautiful sunset. There’s a statue, cannons, a brick building. There’s no pets aloud so don’t come here if you’re coming to walk with your dog. Otherwise it’s a beautiful park! It’s definitely one of my favorite parks.

No pets allowed, but I'm sure service animals would be ok as long as you clean up after it
No feeding the ducks or geese, but otherwise a very nice park and waterfront. Enjoy!!!
They have a page on Facebook and there they list their events ☺
There is a rocky/muddy shoreline and only one short dock that does not reach out into the water at low tide, so be prepared to get a little dirty. Adults need a license in NJ.
Need to make sure it will be available. We're still in a pandemic. Slot of people will be trying to book
I've edited my answer. Owner says no. Only service animals.
Open rain or shine from 7 to 7 everyday its federal park so unless there a catastrophe it's open or if there snow for some reason.
