Not only the best animal hospital I have ever been to but one that makes one ask why is the service so uncompassionate and substandard at so many places? VCA did everything they said they would do, on time and in budget, and everyone there supported us with smiles, encouragement and patient, thorough explanations at each stage of a very stressful situation where they were called upon to fix the mess ups of another facility. They provided regular progress reports, sent many pictures of our baby, and gave him the kind of loving care that shows in the calmness he had when we picked him up. Their love and care for animals and their owners is obvious and contagious.

So far, I’ve waited 3 hours and I was just told it would be another hour before my dog can even see the veterinarian. There’s only 2 other cars in the parking lot. No body inside is in a hurry. There’s been no animals rushed in for emergency services. It’s 9pm on a Tuesday night. This place is not impressive. If you want to ACTUALLY see a vet this is probably not the place to go. I could have waited another few hours at home an seen my own vet.

A vet visit can be extremely emotional and confusing, it’s important to also remember that all vets and vet techs are here to help and are currently drowning in amount of cases and to be patient with any circumstance! My visit experience went well, I called ahead to give details about my pet who was experiencing some emergency related symptoms. I came and they are following Covid protocols (like most VCAs are) in which you check in up front and then return to the car to wait for you to be called. There is plenty of parking and even a big area for the dogs to go potty. I think I even saw some EV chargers in the parking lot. The emergency consultation price was pretty standard for the area. I have no complaints about my visit and hope that everyone else has a great experience like me. Remember each case is different, be patient!

The staff was great, very helpful & kind. They kept me updated throughout the entire time my puppy was admitted & I even received picture updates. They truly care for the animals. I highly recommend this hospital for all your animal needs. My puppy is doing well at home & recovering nicely. Thank you to all the doctors & staff for everything.

Pet insurance works differently than human insurance. You can submit your invoice to your insurance company after you have paid and they will reimburse you on your agreed upon percentage per your policy so you can go to any clinic. They don't accept or not accept insurance. More details regarding filing a claim with your insurance below. https://www.gopetplan.com/help/answers/how-do-i-file-a-claim

Are they expensive

They did a great job with my daughter's cat, blocked urinary track, then I took him to his regular doctor, you get what you pay for, I am not experienced with pet hospitals, let say I end up taking him out 1 facility that I would have paid $700 more and to vca it was $1500, I would recommend vca if you are caught on the weekend and you needed to go immediately, and depends on the health ailment , so let's say since our cat is still getting blocked it's been at his doctor for a week now, anesthesia $70 to put in decathater and $35 a day being there at the doctor's, same procedure 1 overnight at vca $1500, pricey but worth it

I would want to say yes because it is an emergency center, but I mostly saw dogs and cats when I was there.
