I try not to give out 5-star reviews too easily, but all things considered and taking the entire category of brick-and-mortar home improvement retailers into consideration, I'd give this store location a 4.5/5 (rounded up to 5). The foot traffic can be high here, but the checkout personnel are — for the most part — on point. In fact, I'd overheard that regionally speaking they send new hires for some particular positions to be trained here before they get deployed to the other stores. As for the customer experience itself, this place stands out for several reasons: it's an easy drive, whether off the 15 freeway or for us locals a straight drive down Limonite; there's a driveway near the back (next to the Chase bank) if you want to dodge the traffic that comes with the main ingresses; there's a sizeable parking lot, with plenty of spaces; it's a nice area, and you don't feel an immediate need to lock the doors as soon as you park (but still, be safe out there, can't be too careful these days); there's not a lot of loitering or potential laborers camped around. That said, everyone has different preferences, so if you like long lines and cramped spaces (those of you who prefer shorter walks will _technically_ be in luck here) the Madison store may be more to your preference. They've got an In-n-Out there and everything, but oh boy do you have to be a sucker for lines for you to hit up both of these places in the same trip (there goes the whole day!). All in all, given the same relative distance or drive time, I always choose to go here rather than the other locations, every time.

Wow the manager woman on this shift not sure what department but she was flagging a forklift was extremely rude before I was even about to ask a question she shouted a NO! Am totally writing letter of grievance on home Depot. They need nice respectful people. Never coming again.

I was blown away by the customer Service given by Gary in the electrical section at the Eastvale store! He went out of his way to find 50 amp 250 volt outlets I needed and helped cut some 6/3 wire which is very thick wouldn't even fit thru the counter. And he still measured it out perfectly!! Not to mention the others asking for help and he acknowledged everyone. I wish i could have employees like this at my shop! Good people who like what they're doing are hard to find these days!

The two girls at the paint department had the hardest time matching the color I wanted. ( White Sage ). After many tries it just wasent the right color. She told me to come back tomorrow- which is today, so they could continue trying. Today she got it perfected on the first try. Yea !! Both of the girls were a pleasure talking, and laughing with while I was there. It was the machine that wasn't working correctly and that's why it was impossible to get the correct color last night. A BIG thank you to both girls working in the paint department. 🥰👍

They're the same as every place else. There's always room for improvement.

Do they knock down a bath/shower and install a new one?
