This is a place where you would eat at again ! Friendly staff, clean and spacious and the food is served quickly and hot. lots of options on the menu including healthy ones like gluten-free and egg whites only. The omelette is one of the best and the buckwheat pancake tastes amazing.

Great place for breakfast. Coffee was great, I got the French press. Friendly staff and busy place, but we did not have to wait.

Wow! Went here Sunday for brunch with a friend and had a delightful experience on the patio eating scrumptious pancakes and bacon. A highlight of the visit was getting to meet the owner Paul and learning that this family-owned gem just celebrated their 40th year in business. Can't wait to go back next time I'm in LA to try the famous biscuits! See you then, Paul!

Review for biscuits and gravy, as I’m on a search for real southern biscuits and gravy in LA. So these biscuits are perfect. 10/10 for flavor, texture, & look. But they really do a disservice to them with the mediocre gravy. It regular sawmill gravy with approximately 6 chunks of sausage link. To really do it right, LOTS of ground breakfast sausage sprinkled with flour and cooked down with whole milk, salt and pepper to taste. But all that being said, it’s still the closest to the real thing I’ve found so far! Will come back for this and other meals. Just may make my own gravy next time, it would be killer with these biscuits.

We are following all city guidelines. we were health inspected in November prior to the last closure, we set up our tables based on that. we have all servers and bussers wearing face shields and mask on.
Its an orite spot. Im from Scotland. Its not a scottish restaurant at all. But its a nice set up. Seems ok.
We only take reservations for holidays. we do have limited reservation space. Once that space is filled up we take call aheads and we will put your name on the list at the current wait time.
Feel free to come in after 2 any day and ask for Paul. We are always hiring.
Woukd have to move three table together but with an advance phone call they might do it
