I love Montecito it is a beautiful mortuary to have your loved ones at I have two family members there. It’s always nicely maintained and welcoming. On the other hand some of the funeral arrangement reps and family counseling reps lack horrible respond times. I get they are extremely busy but respond back to an email, voicemail or phone call please. I have been waiting months just for my rep to send me an invoice so I can finish the last step in having my paid off headstone engraved. I reached out multiple times voicemails, emails, even met up with her and I still have not gotten a response it’s been over 2 months about to be 3. It’s a nice place but they honestly need to do better with responding back to customers and completing open arrangements. Whenever I call front desks always says there busy there in a meeting but when I had cash on hand everyone was available to meet and take my money. Hire someone to respond back to messages or whatever you need to do but please stop making a sadden situation even harder on my family by not responding and giving us closure to this final chapter.

I am so greatful for the professional and high standard service Montecito Memorial Park and Mortuary has provided for my mother and family. Everyone was very helpful and was always there to guide me and answer my questions. I had the pleasure of working with Mr O . Ruiz and Mr P. Martin who made themselves available for me and my family every minute . And to the two ladies who directed the viewing service and interment ;Lake and Magdalena … keep up the excellent service you provide. Thank you for making my mother’s last resting place a beautiful one . AW

Office personnel was very pleasant. My mother had made her arrangements about 40 years ago and it was very comforting to know they had all paper work needed when the time came. The only issue with her pre-made arrangements was that the casket she pick was no longer available which is understandable due to the time frame from when the arrangements were initially made. We were give a couple of alternate casket to choose from in the same color originally pick. Between the two we pick which we liked best. The day before the service we received a call stating the wrong casket was delivered which was the one we didn’t want. All I could tell them was we had no other choice but to take the one we didn’t want as that was the only one available in the color my mother picked. I feel they should have know this way before the service as I would have pick out one I would have liked better even if it meant I had to pick a different color. Another problem was we ordered an additional six crosses for my mothers grandchildren and they were to be blessed on the casket along with the one they give you at the burial site. We received the one cross at the time of service as it was blessed on the casket prior to be given to my father but the other six weren’t. It’s been a little over a week now and as of yet we haven’t received the six crosses. At the time of service it didn’t come to mind not receiving them as it was a very emotional day. I’ve called the office 3 different times leaving 3 different messages still with no response. This was a big disappointment.

Worst funeral home ever. The may be friendly, but never do their job. To me what matter is if things are getting done in a timely matter and good customer service. Not once have a ever received a call back, they blame not remembering to do everything on COVID pile up. If you want to be heard and attended to for the planing of your services you have to go in person otherwise you will never get done planing for all that you pay for. Look elsewhere to care for funeral services for your loved one.
