I have been reading the reviews about this facility. Appears like they don't care to respond to the reviews. However, I still decided to call in order to schedule an Initial Health Assessment which is recommended for new patients per my provider. I called Wednesday, July 20th and the call went to voicemail. Per the recording it states they are experiencing a high number of calls and to leave a message for a call back within 48 hours. It is now Friday, July 22nd. Never received a call back. Looks like I will be looking for a different medical office. 7/30/2022 I decided to visit ParkTree Community Health Center in person Tuesday, July 26th to get a first hand look and feel for the center. The lobby looks clean, orderly and is well lit. There were several patients in the waiting room It is a very busy office The only employee who was at the front desk was polite and courteous This might explain why people may have difficulties in speaking to staff when they call in. The center maybe short staffed. Or mismanaged But I still think my initial call I placed on Tuesday, July 20th should have been returned within 48 hours Since their recording states that callbacks are answered within 48 hours It shouldn't take someone to go in person to schedule an appointment. Fortunately my line of work allows me to do so I was able to schedule an Initial Health Assessment Appointment for myself without a problem for next month Since I don't have any recurring or pending health concerns at this time I can wait until then. However, the wait time maybe a challenge for someone who does. Every situation is different. I'm not positive if this review will receive an acknowledgement or reply from someone at the center Because when reviews are not acknowledged or answered it does not make for a good impression.

I'm really satisfied with the great service, everyone here is very kind, the nurse explained my questions clearly, the clinic is clean and I felt safe in this place, thank you for helping in this way.

good luck trying to get someone to answer the phone. the doctor is great, the front desk either needs more people or to be trained better.

This is for the doctor's office at the Holt location: I think they deserve better than the reviews they've been getting. They are worth checking out if you are on Medi-Cal and need care. The doctors and nurses are thorough, patient, and really let you take your time in asking them questions. They don't rush you through. That’s worth 4 stars right there. I've been coming here for 3 years. I think the doctors and nurses are professional and nice. I am a satisfied patient. The reason for not giving the full 5 stars is they put you on a long hold when you call. I had to wait 10 minutes on hold just to confirm my appointment. This may be due to staffing shortages because of Covid. It wasn't like that pre-covid. I'll be happy to update my review once that changes. Miss Debbie working the front desk at the Park location is great (she sometimes works at the Holt location. She needs a shoutout). She is kind and helpful. I think the other front desk staff at the Holt location could be a little nicer and more courteous. That's minor, though. I would recommend this office overall. Some people are saying some really bad things which I think they don’t deserve. Just come by and see for yourself.
