Dock Street Marina

A really nice new Marina right in the center of Tacoma. My that place is really changed a lot and for the better. You only thing if I was a little shocked was that they don't have internet no. I don't think I've ever been to a marina that doesn't have internet that's included with your mortgage. Also I arrived with a group of 10 other boates and we went down to the shelter house for dinner they had three tables and two chairs so everybody's hiking back to the boat to get chairs. The next night we had a moor formal dinner no gas grills we had to go back and pull the grills off of our boats to cook the food. The dock hands were really friendly and have some good information didn't see anybody else there that represented the marina.

Awesome clam chowder and just about everything else too. This is where I go when I've been away for some time and take visitors. The bloody marys toppings are better than the drink itself. Afterward you can take a short walk to the art museum enjoy the view of Mt. Ranier and play some of the musical instruments along way.

There is nothing here except the glass museum and a couple bar and grills not for extended stays

Great place to relax and enjoy the waterfront. Great restaurants and pubs but the people at dock street are the best. They help you dock if you need it and have rentals very helpful with anything you need.
