Pretty area. If you're a geochacher, stop by for sure ! Easily accessible. Very close to the road though. So if you're taking children keep them close.

Interesting stop to read the Ohio Historical markers and the history behind the location. Limited parking and not the greatest. A nice 5 minute stop to educate yourself.

"National Historic Landmarks, one that ranks high in significance stands at the south-east corner of Columbiana County, Ohio, on the Ohio-Pennsylvania Line. It marks "The Point of Beginning" of the American Rectangular Land Survey System." East Liverpool Historical Society. Marker is along road running parallel to Ohio River between East Liverpool, OH and Midland, PA.

There was another monument, there; made of "puddingstone". I saw that, about 25 years ago. What happened to it?

One other thing, Pennsylvania is proud enough, of its side of the State Line, to put in a "Welcome to Pennsylvania" sign, and a road marker sign (PA-68). Where is a "Welcome to Ohio" sign, and an OH-39 sign. As a proud Ohioan, I would like to know.
