The covered bridge among the most iconic landmarks in Santa Cruz county

Awesome little gem with an amazing covered bridge and an expansive park to enjoy with your kids or dog.

Nice park but the restrooms are dirty. Also, the place is right next to a busy street. The park is nice and you can visit the bridge but nothing spectacular. Parking is free and close to the park.

Great little park! We have driven past it many times and finally stopped today. The playground is nice and will take care of. The covered bridge was cool and we found horses on the other side so that was fun!

My grandparents have photos of a parade they were in, in 1938. It shows horses crossing the bridge but I don't know the date it was closed to passenger traffic. Here's a little bit of information.. Felton Covered Bridge is a covered bridge over the San Lorenzo River in Felton. Built in 1892, the bridge is approximately 80 feet long. The bridge became a California Historical Landmark in 1957, was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, and had a major restoration in 1987 after being damaged in storms in the winter of 1982.
