In our trip across Montana on Interstate 90, the Bearmouth East Rest Area stood out as the nicest and cleanest. It's also another Mullan Road marker. Nice view of Garnet Range too.

Very clean restrooms, dog exercise area. They had covered picnic table area. No trash anywhere well maintained.

Limitless

I was surprised by the building because it is so nice, grand and clean, given it's pretty remote. Barely any vehicle was on the road for several miles leading to this rest stop. Private stalled bathrooms are fully stocked, have hot water. Not ideal to do car camping overnight because the parking lot is brightly lit but many trucks park and rest here. We find this place very informative thanks to the bulletins and maps. It's surrounded by nice snow clad mountains. We made friends with an adorable pet bird upon arriving.
