Waterfall Lodge is one of the most gorgeous venues I have ever seen. The entire property is pristinely maintained and they are constantly doing updates to keep the property, spaces, and cabins to continually make it even more beautiful. Working with Jaime, Mark, and Michael was a great experience and they are so professional, organized, and accommodating and helpful that it made the experience THAT much better… because not only is the venue beautiful – but so is all of the staff. We absolutely loved having the cabins available onsite and our guests were so pleased with not needing to drive anywhere and being at the property the whole time. We had many guests tell us how much they loved being able to meet people before the actual wedding by staying onsite in the cabins – it made for such a good experience for everyone. The cabins themselves are also very cute; and are very clean and have towels, toiletries, etc. And let me tell you what a gorgeous backdrop a forest of redwoods makes for your wedding ceremony. There was also so many great places for photos – and Waterfall just makes pictures look that much better. I don’t even think it needs to be said that Waterfall is a venue I highly recommend – as it just speaks for itself.

Magical is the only word that comes to mind when I think of Waterfall Lodge. My husband and I got married on 12/31/21 and it was the perfect place to share our love with close family and friends. Getting married under the ancient Redwoods has always been a dream of mine. We all traveled from Texas and Maryland to celebrate our special day. The staff is simply amazing and was very attentive to all guests. The magic and the memories we shared here will be cherished forever. Don't think twice about booking this spectacular place for your special day. You won't regret it! I highly recommend using Dawn Sterndale as a wedding coordinator. She is beyond amazing and makes sure the day goes without a hiccup.

We held our wedding in October at Waterfall Lodge. It was so beautiful, words can't describe the magical feeling in the redwood forest. It's a very secluded venue, so you can have a very private wedding. The redwoods are STUNNING. Photos really don't do justice in how it feels. The staff is wonderful. From planning to the moment you arrive and you leave, they are all so kind and helpful. Because I'm from Canada, I planned the whole wedding abroad. I didn't get to visit the venue before having my wedding and the place did not disappoint! I wish I had stayed longer. I would recommend if you can rent out the venue for the entire weekend. One day/night was not enough! Jaime, the events director was very flexible at this venue and made it easy for us to organize everything. Michael, who built the whole place is so helpful. He's also very knowledgeable about the whole place so if you have any questions about the logistics of setting up everything, he's your man!

Our wedding at this wonderful location could not have been any more perfect. The owners and people their really make it feel like home and they care for it more than anything. They were very accommodating with rescheduling from last year to this year and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect cozy woodsy wedding. Thank you WFL for making our special day PERFECT. We will be back for vow renewals!!

Hi Barbara, check out time for the cabins is 10am.
I'm not 100% sure. I attended a wedding here two weeks ago and they *did* have signs up for specific cabins. And I did see a few cars at specific cabins as well. I think your best bet would be to call and ask?
It completely depends on the year. Some years December is cold and rainy and other years it's in the 70's+.
The property did have some damage, but the structures and the beautiful forest canopies survived!
Not sure ..they have a website
