Called for a plumber today and they were able to send someone out just two hours later. Robert was great. Extremely professional and courteous. Was a very simple job where the toilet valve needed replacing but Robert took the time to check out the water pressure at the water heater and the state of the main regulator, as well as give some advice on what we might want to do in the future, without any sort of hard sell. I definitely appreciated the visit and how painless it was. Would definitely use them again.

Check the thermostat; if it doesn’t display, change the batteries. If there’s still no display after changing the batteries, remove the thermostat from the wall. Check the wires and the voltage. If there’s no voltage, check the fuse box. If no fuses have blown or tripped, reset the switch connected to the AC by turning it on and off. If there’s power but still no display, you might need to replace the thermostat. If the thermostat is working but the AC isn’t, check the fan to see if the blower has power. A dirty air filter could also prevent air flow. Be sure to replace the old filter with one the same size. If all else fails, call us for expert repair.
Refrigerant can leak through damaged lines in the system, resulting in less pressure during the cooling process. As regional HVAC experts, our technicians can detect the source of the leak, repair it and recharge the entire system to ensure the proper amount of refrigerant is added. The unit’s condenser coils can freeze up and prevent cooling. This issue usually occurs either when the filters are dirty or debris obstructs airflow from the outdoor unit. Another cause can be low refrigerant levels. Our professional technicians can diagnose the problem and resolve it by deicing the condenser coils. The unit’s drain line and drip pan can become damaged or obstructed with algae, preventing moisture from draining. This can result in high indoor humidity or even damage to the unit. Our expert HVAC technicians can clear or repair these components so condensation can again effectively exit the system.
Your air conditioner does not “create” cold air, it removes heat from warm air. So, how does your air conditioner remove the heat from the air in your home? The Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) describes how this works in great detail.
Sudden changes in temperature and humidity affect the respiratory system. It has a drying effect on skin and mucous membranes. It adds to ambient noise, contributing to noise pollution. The air circulation can transmit infectious respiratory diseases
More recent studies are suggesting that even the usage of heating and air conditioning systems can lead to weight gain. This is bad news if you're experiencing bitterly cold winters or unexpected heatwaves.
Circulating air from a fan can dry out your mouth, nose, and throat. This could lead to an overproduction of mucus, which may cause headaches, a stuffy nose, sore throat, or even snoring. While a fan won't make you sick, it may worsen symptoms if you're already under the weather.
The cold is one of the factors that trigger typical asthma symptoms such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath. Additionally, prolonged exposure to air-conditioning can contribute to worsening asthma and to the development of lung infections resulting from this condition.
The most common cause of those odd smells is because of growing bacteria caused by dirt accumulation, not to mention mildew, mold, lint and even soap. If you don’t clean your washing machine commonly that’s what happens. If you notice that same smell in your toilet or your faucet, you should consider asking for a plumbing service in order to know if everything is working properly.
We recommend you to ask for a plumbing service for your main sewer line every 18 to 22 months. By doing this you will be able to make sure that everything is working properly and it’s going to be easier to avoid future problems.
It’s common for a broken sewer to smell like an odor of sewer gas. If your drain is working properly and if your sewer line is in good condition you shouldn’t have to smell those kinds of odors. That’s a very clear sign of a broken sewer line, so you should take care of that problem and ask for a professional plumbing service as soon as possible: that’s our recommendation.
Problems with faucets: a dripping faucet can be a clear sign of plumbing problems. Leaking pipes: as well as dripping faucet, when pipes are leaking you should take care of that issue. Complications with a leaking toilet. Clogged drains and partial clogs. Problems with a water heater: there is no hot water. Sewer problems.
We recommend you to ask for a professional plumber at least every two years. By doing this, you will have the tranquility that your plumbing is in good condition. If something is wrong with your plumbing, a professional plumber will be able to tell you in order to avoid further damages and complications.
Obviously not. There are different sorts of plumbers, and some are extra expert than others. Qualified plumbers are the best option for any kind of pipes repair or job. On the other hand, plumbers that do not have official certifications or certifications will rarely have the ability to provide you ensured contentment: you can not anticipate superb service if the plumbers you employ do not have considerable certifications; it is a fact.
Without a doubt, you can rely upon specialist plumbers for your hot water heater repair work troubles. You should see to it that the plumbers you hire are accredited in the field since repairing water heaters is a specific job. It is best to deal with specialist plumbers since major accreditations assure their expertise and also experience.
Proper upkeep is definitely the key. Setting up ongoing maintenance for the air conditioning device by a cooling expert is without a question the best way to boost the performance and life-span of your device.
To start with, make sure to check that your air conditioning unit is activated. If so, check that the breakers are activated and be sure the thermostat is established correctly. Also make a note of any kind of unusual sounds or smells coming from the air conditioning unit.
If your air conditioning system is making strange sounds, isn't cooling all areas of your home properly, taking much longer to cool down, or if your energy expenses have gone up for no obvious reason, then you most definitely have a complication that requires to be served.
Due to all air conditioning systems and units being different, the replacement depends on different elements including the age of the system, noise levels, humidity levels, energy costs and how well the system is working for your demands.
As a result of the vast option of different designs available, as well as the clients' needs, cost is absolutely an issue that can only be solved by doing a detailed examination of your house or business and its existing system.
Of course, a drain has problems when there is a blockage, but if you constantly unclog it, it is an indicator that you are facing a blockage or a more serious problem in your pipes and should be taken care of as soon as possible as home methods did not work. Or in addition to the obstruction it may be that some roots have invaded the pipe or ebbs.
In addition to reducing the efficiency of your air conditioner, dirt in your ducts can cause you and your family members a variety of illnesses and ailments. For example, you may start to feel different symptoms such as allergies, coughing fits, sneezing, and a runny nose. Many people request that the air ducts be cleaned to avoid these types of complications. To make matters worse, mold, dust, and other contaminants can build up in the air duct, which can also cause health problems, such as a sore throat, headaches, and dizziness.
The best option to extend the life of your air conditioning system is regular inspection and constant maintenance of the unit. The use causes various failures and it is necessary to change certain parts. Other ways are to prevent dirt and leaves from accumulating near the unit to avoid clogging. At all costs it must be ensured that the ventilation grills are free of objects.
To save energy consumption, we used two rooftop summer air conditioning units; Conventional one and the other with heat pipe heat exchanger (HPHX) installed between return cold air and fresh hot air. The input temperature was kept at 20 C while the output temperature was about 40 C. The purpose of HPHX is to decrease the fresh air temperature before entering the AHU and accordingly decrease energy consumption. How to do economic analysis for this case study?? How to calculate the energy saving and the money saving??
