Most reviews previously left here are mostly accurate. The machines aren't always properly maintained. I've lost money through them, and also gained money through them. A couple weeks ago I got water from one of the machines and it tasted totally funky - Even worse than the tap water around here in San Diego. I just dumped the rest of it because I had no idea why it tasted so bad, even my wife knew we had gotten a bad fill from the machine, it was no subtle difference. Other than that one occasion, the water beats the tap water any day. And the convenience of the machines is something that all the hard critics on here seem to be overlooking. If I had a water store right down the street with top quality water, even if it costs a little more, I'd choose that over Glacier anytime, but Glacier machines seem to be at almost all grocery stores around here, so as long as they are properly maintained with the filter working properly, its decent enough water.

Tried the walfart water which is .27 cents a gallon but they have culligan service the filters and management do not every call them for service so the filters are clogged all the time and it barely trickles out...pppffffttttt for 3 cents more I will get great water and will fill my 20/1 gallon containers at glacier water machines in 10minutes instead of walfarts 1 gallon filled in 20minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!
