It's an interesting place but it's dangerous, please be very careful specially when you climb down the steps, it's slippery. Is too bad that accessing to the actual seat is not safe, you can look at it from a side but be very careful.

There are a few gravel parking spaces in front of the Harmonist's big red barn on Mercer Street. It's two short blocks from the steps up to Rapp's Seat. The barn is owned by the Historic Harmony museum society, and the grounds are open to the public.
