I took my son to The Shoppe for a haircut yesterday. My son is a teenager, and especially particular about his haircuts, It's really hard to get it the way he wants, especially since he's not always sure how to achieve it, or even really describe it. Justin conversed with him the whole time (with a great sense of humor), and worked out exactly what he wanted. At one point he asked my son a question, and my son said, "I'm not sure, whichever you think is better." Justin ( I gather from the other interviews that that's the owner's name) said, "My job is to get it the way you want it, not the way I think it should be." My son walked out delighted with his cut. And the shop is really cool--antique barber's chairs, tons of old signs to check out, and Kairos, Justin's friendly pug, made my wait a pleasure.
