Honestly one of the best calamari fritti i had in a long time. Wow. Soft not too chewy and fried to crisp perfection. Great mussel appetizer as well. The atmosphere is great very old school. Loving it

Great appetizers, main course, and desserts! The fish and clam chowder was so fresh and delicious. Plus amazing customer service. They honestly had a different variety as well, specially with kids that some don't like seafood. We had such a great experience. We only wished we had more room in our stomachs for more food! 🙂🙂

Yummy, reasonably priced fresh fish (sand dabs) and great New England chowder. All served piping hot.

Food was beyond good and beat my expectations, take my word! Don't listen to all the hatters. AMAZING! High quality food.

Hi Charlene, we currently do not have a reopening date. Please check our website - https://www.theoldclamhousesf.com/ for updates.

Dont know give them a call first.
NO place that serves food unless it is a punk rock metal venue who glares in the face of the law allows dogs (for long) unless it is a service animal, NOT a comfort animal. It MUST be a WORKING dog. Health codes will not permit animals to be where food is prepared and eaten otherwise. So tired of these questions all over the place about restaurants. Why do the majority of people in this country believe education is expendable and keep voting in favor of people who will reduce us to ignorant sheep? Know ur health standards or have common sense and leave your PET at HOME. Not like u need to hire a sitter unless ur a bad pet companion who never taught ur pet NOT to destroy your hm and only tote them around as an accessory... I love my pets, but come ON. Go to San Pedro Fish Market in Long Beach or Fisherman's Wharf. They have outdoor seating for you AND your dog to eat. Not good enough? Can't help you.
