A great deal of selection. Not only do they carry the latest and greatest, but there are a ton of hard to find HO and N scale kits from over the years. Be sure to call ahead to make sure Brian is open, but also be sure to plan enough time to go through the stacks of merchandise. Great local vendor.

He has a ton of stuff available in HO and N scale. I you can a lot of time browsing {significant other not in the car waiting}. Small town hobby shop to buy local.

Great place to great model trains and parts and model cars and rockets. Friendly owner and very knowledgeable about the products being sold.

I stopped in Monroe specifically to visit this shop. I enjoyed spending time looking for things I wanted. I could have easily spent a few hours there. The owner is very knowledgeable and took an interest in talking with me about the hobby. I plan to visit any time I can and would recommend this place to anyone interested in trains and railroads. The Hobby Depot has everything you need to start a model railroad from locomotives, freight and passenger cars, buildings, scenery materials, and so on. It is also a great place to pick things up to expand a model railroad too. There is also a great selection of books and how to guides. If you are ever in the area, stop by if you can!
