I had my first Diamond Glow facial from Lucrecia and I loved the results. Lu was very professional and explained everything she was doing along the way. My face looked healthy and vibrant and I can’t wait to go back for my 2nd treatment. The office is very beautiful and inviting and not far off the freeway or PCH. Lu was also very helpful by answering my questions about skincare products and services that would be beneficial for my 42yr old skin.

I make it a point to be on time for my doctor's appointments. I respect their time. But they need to respect my time as well. A 10:15 appointment. Called into my appointment at 11:00. 5 minutes with nurse tapping on her tablet and 3 minutes with doctor. Other issues that also contribute to this rating.

As a fair skinned person I am unfortunately familiar with yearly dermatology exams. Having recently moved to San Clemente I thought I would try a local place. I can say that my experience, while not blatantly unpleasant, it has the feel of a strictly for profit business that is run poorly and conveniently not forthcoming with information. First off my visit took nearly 2 hours. I answered the same questions numerous times, so I’m not sure what everyone was putting into their tablet. When my exam by the doctor was conducted there were no fewer than 5 people in the room, not bad per se but it did feel rather lab rat level. The Dr was mostly thorough other than not checking anywhere in the underwear region, which was a first. 3 biopsies were taken, nothing said to me about any of them. The regular pen ink left all over around the sites was a nice touch. Leaving the office I was told internet was down, can’t schedule an appointment for follow up, understandable, told they will call when it came back. Two days later, seemed like a long time with no internet, I called the office, was able to make an appointment. Prescription for wound care was supposed to be sent next day, informed the next day that it could take 48 hours for delivery or get sent to my pharmacy within the next 24 hours. Glad I had leftover medication from previous biopsies. Luckily biopsies were ok thanks to someone from the out of office lab who explained the results. Insurance gets my bill, over two weeks prior to my scheduled follow up appointment, their internet was fast with that. Despite me specifically stating at appointment booking and at the office that my insurance needed to be bill coded as a yearly preventative exam of which I was assured, it was coded as a new patient visit. After speaking with billing and then the manager informed they don’t do preventive scans, only diagnostic exams. I look forward to having my medical records from this visit sent to whichever dermatologist I find for next years exam, certainly won’t be back.
