This has become one of my favorite trails lately. The canyon is cool with the stream running down it. You can either go to the top to see the waterfall or cut back and run along the Bonneville shoreline trail which joins up on the Mount Olympus trail.

Such a beautiful hike and beautiful ending at the waterfall.it is a hard one thou incline and elevation gain are serious but we'll worth it at the end.

Best time to go is at sunrise and going past the waterfall. Really mellow hike with some steep sections. Some loose dirt near the top, but certainly in the intermediate category. If going after sunrise in the summer watch for rattle snakes.

This seems like a hidden tucked away hike that not many people know about. Likely since you do have to park at the bottom of the neighborhood and walk through it to get to the trailhead. It’s a wonderful trail that ends with a beautiful waterfall though. You have to climb over some rocks to get to the other side where the rushing waterfall will be waiting to greet you!

Questions & Answers

Where is the waterfall at, I followed the trail to the end where the big boulders are or rock slide do I need to climb over them?

Look to the right of the rock slide. The waterfalls are pretty small.
