After doing well over 40 escape rooms, I can honestly say this is an incredibly disappointing room, especially for the price. Apart the clues not flowing together and no story line, the equipment was all outdated, battered, and in some cases broken. One of the automatic release doors didn’t function properly, even after the game master told us what to do. In the beginning we were told cell phone use was ok in the room, upon completion of it we found out that it was required. While, there was no limit on clues, when we were given clues we were given poor responses that did not help us anyway. Exposed wires from the mechanisms and several props that were broken or in disrepair. Given the price was roughly $12 more per person then most rooms in the area, I expected a much higher quality room, instead received a poor quality room. We did the room “The Apartment”

I brought six 10-12 year olds here for a Birthday gathering and they Escaped the Rec Room. CJ was our guide/support and she was amazing!! I definitely recommend coming here with your family and friends. Thanks CJ!

The operators do a good job of tailoring the experience to the group. I've gone with a group of adults and I've also gone with just a 13 year old and they made it a very enjoyable experience both times.
Depending on the room you choose, if you don't book the maximum amount of people there is a chance other people can book it also. So if you want it to yourself, you would have to have the maximum.

Sophie, you have to read the description of each room. If I remember correctly, they go from 8 to 20 people. It all depends on the room you pick. If you don't have enough people that's fine. The company may put other people in the room. Other people may not have as many either but are looking to go at the same time and date. I hope this helped you.
