STEP 1: BITCOIN WALLET You will need a bitcoin wallet to be able to receive the bitcoins purchased at one of our Glendale bitcoin ATMs. We recommend downloading the Bitcoin Depot Wallet app on your phone - however any bitcoin wallet address will work. STEP 2: CHOOSE AMOUNT Go to one of our bitcoin ATMs and click the buy bitcoins button to begin. Choose the amount you would like to buy. Purchases over $250 will require ID. For all purchases, the bitcoin ATM will ask for your phone number. On your first purchase, it will ask you to create a PIN for future transactions. STEP 3: SCAN WALLET Click on the request tab of your bitcoin wallet app to display your bitcoin wallet address and QR code. Hold your phone 4-6 inches from the QR code scanner above the pin pad on the machine and scan your bitcoin wallet QR code. STEP 4: RECEIVE BITCOIN Insert the amount of cash for your desired purchase and click finish. You will have the option to receive a printed or emailed receipt. Your bitcoin will be transferred to your bitcoin wallet instantly. However, it may take some time for your bitcoin is spendable depending on the speed of the bitcoin network. To send your bitcoin to another person or company, click on the scan tab of your wallet. You can scan the receiving party's QR code or paste in their bitcoin address.
