This is the BEST burrito I have ever had in my life! Will come back here time and time again! The shredded beef + carnitas meat is amazing! The crispiest chips ever topped with salt - best experience I’ve ever had! This place was a recommendation from my dad who had been coming here since he was a kid! Flew out from FL and now I’m going home dreaming of Los Compadres and not being able to have it!

A fantastic family run restaurant with incredible customer service and delicious food. We found this place on Google while passing through Hayward and it turned out to be an evening we would never forget. Our host, Ignacio, told us about the history of the restaurant and the story behind each dish. It was a nice personal touch and we all loved it. The homemade salsa has a delicious smokey flavour and the pork taco was a fan favourite. We got caught up in the moment and I had a bit of a whoopsy-daisy, leaving without my backpack containing me and my friend's passports, wallets and cameras in the restaurant. We noticed about 20 mins down the road and when we called we were greeted by a relieved Ignacio who, along with some of his regulars, had contacted us via Facebook to tell us we'd left it there. When we returned he even gave us some mini burritos for the journey! And they were bloody delicious. It was some of the best customer service I'd ever experienced and the food was to match. All the best to Los Compadres for the future. We won't forget you!
