My first issue was trying to sign up from a link that I received . I tried several time and was unsuccessful. I forwarded the link from my phone to my email and finally I was able to sign up. I decided to use them for a red light camera ticket and submitted the requested documents . I was told I would receive a return call within 4 hours and I did . I spoke with Attorney Kelley Sheridan and her advice to me was to ignore the ticket and the notice I received from the superior court that clearly says if I don’t respond I would be issued a failure to appear. I could not believe this is the type of legal advice I was given . I spent days signing up for this service and 4 hours waiting for a return call that lasted 60 seconds . She told me she would get back with me in 3-4 days after she reviews the paperwork I submitted . I decided to check their google and Yelp reviews and they are horrible . I contacted the associate who I signed up with and she simply told me this company was great and she’s been doing this for over 20 years and legal sheild has millions of satisfied customers and Legal Sheild pays Parker Stanbury LLC $1,000,000 per month to be their preferred law firm . When I asked her if she looked at their google and Yelp reviews , she would not confirm . Also the customer service number for legal sheild closes at 3pm pst so I was unable to speak with someone yesterday . But did cancel first this this morning .

This is a horrible law firm. My son got a traffic ticket due to lack of driving experience and we contacted this firm through prepaid legal. They actually told my son not to go to court and send them the notice that he received in the mail. We didn’t receive them a notice until four months later, and then they told him that he should’ve just handled the ticket himself. What is the point? I love prepaid legal, however I wish they would use a better law firm here in CA. These people are useless.

I have been a member for many years. I am surprised at the level of service I received. I called on Friday 4/8 with a new matter. was told an attorney would contact me. still waiting and today is Tuesday 4/12. when I called on yesterday to follow up on why I have not received a call back. I was told that the attorney would call me today at 12:30 - waited 1 hour still no call. I would no refer my dog to this company!!!! I pay my membership on time every month for over 11 years and when I need representation I have to wait weeks to speak with someone??? Not acceptable at all

I fully understand that we are in some very trying times but that does not give Matt Davis a free pass to treat people who are paying for his expertise like garbage. He was very condescending, and rude, acting as if I was wasting his time with no regard for the process set forth by Legalshield and would not stop speaking long enough for me to actual explain my full inquiry. I’m giving 1 star for the receptionist who handled my follow up call to request reassignment, as she was polite, but my confidence that I won’t be treated the same way by the next lawyer is very low.
