Neat bar. Nicely remodeled. Probably could have had one more bartender to make the wait shorter (and turn customers faster). We were surprised they hadn't even heard of sarsaparilla since it would have been a period-correct beverage option. The cowboy coffee over ice was tasty.

Great carnitas Tacos! Guacamole was amazing. Bloodies were awesome. Everything but the automatic 16% gratuity was 5 stars.

TL;DR: This saloonas has some of the best cocktails and food I've had the pleasure of eating at a tourist destination. Fantastic find! Me and my friends camping in nearby Black Rock Campground and because of a bum knee we had to scrap our plans and we went sightseeing instead! We headed to Pioneertown, where many old Western and modern movies have been shot. There's a lot of cute shops, and the locals are friendly. At the saloon me and my friends tried their cowboy coffee, Moscow mule, bloody Mary, churros, and tater tots. The bloody Mary was one of the best I'd ever had, made with fresh juices and horseradish. The tatertots came out piping hot and perfectly crunchy on the outside, with a fantastic dipping sauce. Prices were also very reasonable, especially for the drinks! I'm coming back here again next time I'm in the area, for sure!

Had a lovely Mexican inspired breakfast here on my way from 29 palms back to LA. Fresh flavorful black coffee, breakfast burrito and churros. Chill friendly staff and real Wild West atmosphere. Will plan on returning next time I’m in the area.
