Last week my silver Mercedes Benz was vandelized in front on the Wakaba LA Apartment complex as it sat on the corner of 2nd and San Pedro Street directly in front of the Ootoro Sushi and Wine restaurant below the complex. A male employee at the restaurant came out side and viewed the damages and told me that the two cameras on the wall belongs to the Wakaba LA Apartment complex. So I went to the leasing office on the 3rd floor of the Wakaba LA Apartments and talked to the male leasing clerk about what happened to my property and showed him pictures of my vandalized Mercedes Benz. The leasing clerk assured me that he would email me actual footage of my Mercedes Benz being vandalized and he asked for my email address and I provided it to him. Before leaving the leasing office he told me he would take care of it meaning he would send me the footage. The leasing clerk flat out lied to me and I have not yet to this day received any email from the Wakaba LA Apartment leasing clerk. What the purpose of having two cameras in front of your building if you have no intentions on using them when crime is being committed in front of your complex. I never should had parked my car in this crime infested area.

I have been here for maybe a month and a week...since the very first night I stayed here my plumbing has been an issue without resolve. The best that they could do for me is break my lease without penalty. I highly recommend another building! #thisisadisgrace

A Real Resident Review: Management = 0/10 Community Manager, Steve W., is rude and unprofessional. He acts as if you're inconveniencing him when you ask a question or voice a concern. Absolutely, no customer service skills. Unfortunately, he is unavoidable and really ruins the living experience. Building/Security = 2/10 -There is no formal waiting area/lobby area for guest. -The building's main entrance are open to the public because it shares the parking garage with Joes Public Parking, so non-residents have access to the building and can easily gain access to the mail room and elevators to the residential floors. I do not know why management believes the security issue can be solved by playing, on repeat, a loud public announcement stating that people are being recorded and will be prosecuted if caught stealing. -On several occasions, there are homeless roaming the building who pull the fire alarms late at night. -Resident's packages are left everywhere from the mail room, amazon hub, outside the amazon hub, parcel postal hub, and front door. Amenities = 3/10 -The fitness center seems nice but some machines don't work, TV's don't work, and the lights never turn on or stay on. PRO: Location - however, there are several other apartment communities in this block that would be a better choice.

Excellent service, management and maintenance! Steve, the manager, is super helpful, answers your questions promptly. Deana is very professional and kind, always willing to help. Tim is also very courteous. Moreover, they've added a new team member, Johnny, who is still learning but is very helpful, kind, and professional! Also, maintenance personnel and housekeeping services personnel are friendly, and keeps the entire place maintained and looking pristine! Overall, everyone has made our experience residing at Wakaba an enjoyable one! Thank you for your hard work and kindness.

Mail and package boxes are available, and there is also an Amazon room. However, any lose packages that are left out due to filled occupied space, are prone to being stolen by the homeless.
