My wife and I decided to give this neat little spot a try for supper after reading about it and based on the location. We showed up quite early, around 4:00pm for supper. We were asked if we wanted to sit in window area, which we did, since we were excited to have a nice spot to watch people go by and things happening in the village. The hostess seated us at a 2 person table out there behind a 6 person table, which was a 4 person table with a 2 person one added to it. When our waitress came by I politely asked if we could sit right by the window, as there was also another couple sitting at a 4 person spot but she rudely said no that's a 6 person table, even though it was the same as another 4 person spot with a 2 person table shoved up to it. Restaurant had maybe 8 people in it, total, at that point, but I understand if they want to keep spots open for larger groups. The waitress then came back and said we could move our table, so I grabbed my cutlery, my wife forgot hers, so the waitress, chucked them across the table we moved to, outrageous, and it sounds like I'm making that up, but we were just flabbergasted at how rude she was. We ordered and shared crab cakes and the salmon Rockefeller. Food quality was good, but plain, nothing special for the price. The only positive was the view which at least was fun to watch things happening out the window. We were nothing but polite with the waitress, I even said to my wife lets try hard to just be so nice to her as she might be having some issues or whatever, but would never go back or recommend this place to anyone I know.

Excellent New England seafood I had a cup of Chowdah to start. The flavor profile leans towards bacon and the flour needs to be cooked down a bit more to not be so floury. The steam clams were very fresh, nice size and delicious. They were served with Classic New England Melted butter Hot broth And towelette Main course was Fried whole belly Ipswich clams Very fresh and fried golden brown. I had fries & coleslaw as my sides I would recommend if you're looking for fresh New England seafood 🦞 Restaurant can get loud. I was there at 5 p.m. and there was a party of 8 and a couple more tables. Service was attentive and professional

Absolutely delicious and a great experience. The menu is a bit overwhelming at first but the server offered great information and was very helpful. Highly recommend!
