It was really fun and you were able to swim but there were leaches and pointy rocks as you get farther down.

Great place to cool off from the summer heat, get there early if you want a picnic table with a grill, nice raised sandy point for kids to play ,very spacious grass area, flushable toilets, Great family swimming area and beautiful mountain background.

Beautiful as always😍yes a smaller looking beach but at the same time not small. Even when the parking lot is full…. There is plenty of room to not be near others at all. My two kids and I have a blast when we go. A trip that is about 1 hour and 40 min away and we’ll worth it. We pack lunches and eat at the tables and swim or float! Beautiful place to take pictures!

I HAD TO POST THESE PICTURES HERE BECAUSE THIS LOCATION IS THE CLOSEST TO THE BRIDGE WHERE I TOOK THESE SHOT. EVEN THO THIS BEACH IS VERY VERY NICE. I JUST LOVE THIS SPOT SO THE NEXT TIME YOU VISIT THE MAC POINT BEACH TAKE THE TIME TO DRIVE LESS THAN 2 MINUTES TO THE BRIDGE AND SOAK IN THE VIEW OR BETTER YET MAYBE YOU CAN TAKE A ROW BOAT AND FISH HERE AND ENJOY THE VIEW WHILE WAITING FOR A BITE.
