It was good , very quiet place , went there around 9pm Saturday was there like 2 hours and no one was caching anything so we left empty handed 😏

Been fishing here over 30yrs it's not the same. I hate it when people trash the place they have big trash can by street to put your trash in. This place is good if you're in a kayak or boat. When fishing directly by the gate make sure you're using very light tackle anything with a little weight will get hung up! There's a drop off when reeling in your line so that's where you get hung right on that lip. My best experience has been with poping cork and live shrimp on the outside corners of the gate. A lot of big trout feed on the outside not directly in passage way for boat traffic coming in/out don't get me wrong you still get hung up in the boat also. Coming down Skyline Dr/Beach Dr. to the right hand side of the gate is where you catch Sheepshead, Black Drum, Red Fish ect....I have caught a Red Fish in the channel running thru the gate mainly on soft plastic. Let's keep it clean so they won't take away the few fishing spots we have left!

Good redfish fishing here. Also, don't buy bait, just throw a cast net. Mullet for days here.
