I scheduled an appointment online, signed in, and was called a few moments later. I brought all the required paper work listed online so the process was smooth. The lady that took me was very nice and not your stereotypical cold dmv lady. Actually, none of the girls seemed to be like the stereotypical dmv ladies. I took my driver’s exam (long time due) and the girl that was with me also was very nice. I recommend this place!

Why do I need to submit a passport or birth certificate to renew a DL, when I have been driving for 25 years? Why don't you accept my current DL, a social security card, and a Texas gun license? Didn't I already submit a birth certificate to get all of those? Why does a picture of my passport with the passport number clearly visible not suffice? Why don't you answer the phone when I attempted to call the day before my appt to confirm what info I needed to bring? Why did your website tell me that I was eligible to renew online, only to let me get through the entire process, then tell me that I need to renew in person? GAS IS TOO EXPENSIVE TO MAKE A BLANK TRIP. I can't stand government offices! And what's the point of an appointment if I still have to wait an hour.

Hands down best DMV experience ever. Everyone was so happy and helpful. I got in and out, the appointment options are great. 2:15 on a Friday as soon as I walked in they we’re ready to help me. I was in the car by 2:45

It was seamlessly easy it’s a book an appointment For my son’s permit. Miss Vanessa the supervisor was excellent at explaining the paperwork to us and directing us through the whole process. The entire staff was amazing and his office was surprisingly the quietest governmental office I’ve ever been in. They do a great job

U.S. Citizenship or, if you are not a U.S. Citizen, evidence of lawful presence Texas Residency Identity, and Social Security Number This is according to their web site
Just take your dl and it's $25 to renew.
Yes...online
No they don’t. If your warrants are for traffic tickets they do not arrest you for an ID. You will only be arrested if you try to get a drivers license. I’m speaking from experience.

Yes
It is better that you go to driver's school and get your driver's license honestly and for your personal safety.
