We went to do a tasting, and they close their tastings after 4pm on Sunday, which is understandable, but the man at the counter yelled “next” to my fiancé and I, like we weren’t supposed to be there or like we were less than any other customer. The nice gentleman next us was addressed with “sir, how can I help you?” By the same man that addressed us like we were not valuable customers. Age or our attire doesn’t define how much a person will spend at your establishment, and we do not want to be treated like less because we are in our 20’s. We have spent so much time in Fredericksburg and Italy drinking wine and just enjoy supporting small businesses. Needless to say, we will not be back.

My favorite winery in North Texas with outstanding wines! Never thought a wine from Texas could keep up with those in California, Oregon or even France, Portugal and Spain, yet this winery certainly can hold their own. Looking forward to many more good times here.

My husband and I did a wine tasting of 3 reds. The grounds were very nice with just a little need for some TLC after winter. They are still requiring face masks as of today. There are several places to sit and enjoy your wine or you can also walk around the vineyard, just bring walking shoes. They do not serve food but you may bring your own. They do require you to wear a mask if you are at the bar but you can remove it when you step away.

Absolutely stunning location. We sat outside and the atmosphere was sublime. Unfortunately, myself and the rest of my group only enjoyed 1/6 of the wines tasted and the customer service was terrible. There were restrictions due to COVID so only one person could go to the bar, but never once even when the server came outside to give us extra glasses were we greeted, shared eye contact or given a farewell.
