Nice quite park, we live in another nearby town, but always make the drive to pottsboro to goto this park. It's usually not crowded and has something for all of my 6 kids, from the little 1 year old on up to my 11 yr old. There is a nice little trail and cool bridge, and bathrooms, and open field for soccer etc. There is also a nice pavilion. We highly recommend.

Im sure you can but really no idea what if any charges for an event. The building on the park premise would know I'm sure.
