What kind of business is this? They do not answer their phone, nor call back. I request on their website to book an appointment and four days later, still no response. Why are you in business, if you going to ignore your community?? I reside two min walk from this place and refuse to walk-in person, due to COVID. Bad business to ignore your community. They did a good job on my daughter hair and she also purchased a 35.00 serum, but when I try to book an appointment, it’s been four days now and I get NO RESPONSE. Well I will continue to go to my usual salon. They are prejudice against Afro hair. And they way over priced, but not in Dominican Republic they not.

BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL! I was scheduled for an 11:00am appointment this morning. Guess who wasn't at their shop in time enough for my appointment? You guessed it.... Sonia. She was a whole 45 minutes late. No apology, no remorse.... just an excuse. Not sure what I was supposed to do with that. When she pulled up I let her know that she was crazy late and she said that she knew that and that she had something else to take care of. I asked her why she didn't call to let me know that she would be late and she said she didn't have her book with her. Then she shrugged it off and said "Well I don't know what you want me to do about it, things happen." How unprofessional is that?!!! I responded that I expected to be met with an apology, offer some sort of discount and apathy. She then told me that if I had a problem with it then I could find somewhere else to go get my hair done. So guess what I did? You guessed it... left and went somewhere else. She is NOT professional at all and DOESN'T CARE about her client's time. Do yourself a favor if you have a problem with her being late, not giving you a heads up, and not caring enough to just say "I'm so sorry for being late. Something came up and I should have called you, but I completely forgot my book. Let me offer you a discount. Feel free to sit at my bowl and we'll get started"; and instead go give your money to another salon who's on time and shows professionalism. I promise you there are so many other quality places you can go for your hair needs.

I had an amazing experience at Sonia's Dominican Hair Salon. I got a my hair washed/deep conditioned, roller set, blow dried, and flat ironed. Crystal LAID my hair. She listened to all my concerns and educated me on how to care for my hair better. I am so in love and happy that I found someone I can trust with my hair. - My hair texture is 3C/4A - She trimmed my hair as needed (she's not scissor happy) - Prices are reasonable - They offer a discount to first time clients

The owner and her hair stylist are all well trained and very caring of the clients concerns on their hair care. Great products and consulting clients with the process it will take to get troubled hair into Great looking hair again. In comparison to other shop's pricing Sonia has a very competitive pricing. When I go to Sonia's shop it is liking getting my Mom to take care of my hair, for me anyhow I have been going to Sonia for a few years and I have allot trust in her work with my hair. I have been going to this shop for the last 4 years and everything they do is great and Crystal the owner daughter, is really great and for being so young she is a old soul for hair care and watching her Mom working with clients when she was young. If you go to the shop once you will keep going back for more Great hair care and styling.
